Cinderella Wine says: Product Details:
Please note, tonight's wine is available on presale and is set to arrive in mid-June.

Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $49.98. We are the best and only price online. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results. Please note, we are not taking virtual inventory into account.

Free shipping on orders of 3 bottles or more!
Please Note it may take 24-48 hours for your order to be put together for store pickup. You'll get an email when it's ready for pick up.

More Ratings:

94 Pts Wine Enthusiast

"A smoky, graphite tone of ash or crushed mineral opens the nose of this densely concentrated wine. Dark chocolate, sweet cherry and fresh tobacco leaf are followed by a chewy, syrupy mouthfeel with fine, polished tannins. -M.L." (02/12)

93 Pts Wine Spectator

"An inky red, vibrant and infused with violet, blackberry, graphite and spice aromas and flavors. Though concentrated, this is also elegant and well-balanced. The finish is long and compact, indicating this needs time to unwind. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Best from 2013 through 2024. 2,900 cases made. - BS" (10/11)

90 Pts Antonio Galloni - Vinous

"The 2008 Bolgheri Superiore Arnione is a gorgeous wine. Super-ripe dark cherries, plums, tobacco, mocha and French oak are some of the notes that emerge from this brooding, intense red. The 2008 needs time for the tannins to soften, but is quite attractive. The blend is 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 20% Merlot and 20% Petit Verdot. Anticipated maturity: 2013-2018." (06/12)

Description:

Wine:
"Arnione is the Italian word for a kidney-shaped lump of alabaster, the heart of top-quality, valuable gypsum. It alludes to the art of carving alabaster, for which this part of Tuscany is renowned." - Winery

Vineyard:
"The vineyard was conceived according to two cardinal principles: maximum grape quality and maximum mechanisation during growing. Campo alla Sughera has thus created a highly specialised vineyard which covers an area of about 20 hectares. The plots making up the vineyard are all located inside the Bolgheri DOC area, bordered by the Fosso di Bolgheri waterway, which runs alongside the estate itself. This is a terroir which is perfectly suited for the production of top quality wines, both red and white. The micro-climate benefits from sea breezes from the coast, which is just a few kilometres away." - Winery
