You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

96 Pts Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape St.-Georges possesses magnificent fruit in addition to a skyscraper-like mouthfeel, majestic richness, a layered texture, phenomenal purity and a classic style displaying plenty of bouquet garni, licorice, seaweed, cassis and kirsch characteristics. This sensational 2010 is soft enough to be drunk now, but will be even better with 2-3 years of cellaring. It should last for two decades."

"A microscopic estate owned by Coralie Goumarre, Domaine Galevan was established, remarkably, in 1780, but the first estate-bottled wine did not emerge until 1968. I was blown away by these four red wine cuvees, and both of the 2010s have jumped dramatically in score since I tasted them from barrel last year. Coralie Goumarre has consistently made some of the better Cotes du Rhones over recent vintages. Both her 2011s represent sleepers of the vintage." (10/12)

96+ Pts Jeb Dunnuck - The Rhone Report

"Getting a big "Wow" from me, the spectacular 2010 Domaine Galevan Chateauneuf-du-Pape St. Georges is a blend of 100% Grenache that comes all from 96+ year old vines. One of the top wines of the vintage, it has an incredible bouquet of blackberry liqueur, licorice, assorted flowers, and roasted meats that gives way to a full-bodied, massively built palate that has nothing out of place, a seamless texture, beautiful freshness, and masses of polished tannin emerging on the finish. Taking the better part of a day to open up and even better on day two, this knockout Chateauneuf-du-Pape needs 4-5 years of bottle age, and will totally thrill for 15+ years or more. Don't miss this!" (03/12)

Description:

"Dark, lustrous crimson. Big, ripe, bumptious wine chock full of blackberry fruit. Drawn tightly together on the finish. Slightly animal on the end. This delivers. Drink 2018 to 2028. (JR)" - 17 out of 20 Points, Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages

Winemaker/Winery:
"Coralie Goumarre represents the 9th generation of her family to make wine, and the first woman to take full responsibility for Domaine Galevan. This consists of 49 ha of vines, including 2 in the Chateauneuf-du-Pape appellation. The estate is located on the outskirts of Courthezon on the road to Vaison La Romaine."

"Domaine Galevan produces one red and one white Chateauneuf-du-Pape. The red is made from 90% Grenache and 10% Mourvedre. The grapes are de-stemmed and the wine is aged in oak barrels for 10-15 months." - The Chateauneuf-du-Pape Wine Book, Harry Karis
