Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

More Ratings:

89 Pts Robert Parker - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The amazing 2010 Cotes du Rhone exhibits a dense, rich, inky/ruby/purple color as well as lots of cassis and kirsch intermixed with hints of lavender and pepper. Both wines should be consumed in their first 3-4 years of life." (10/12)

89 Pts Wine Spectator

"A solid, fleshy core of dark plum, anise and blackberry flavors is well-harnessed by charcoal and licorice snap notes. Offers a gutsy finish, but solid purity as well. Drink now through 2014. 550 cases made. - JM" (10/12)

88 Pts Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media

"Bright purple. Vibrant, high-pitched aromas of black and blue fruits and herbs. Deeply pitched, juicy and fruit-driven, offering gently sweet blackberry and mulberry flavors lifted by a spicy quality. Finishes warm and smooth, with good clarity and punch." (05/12)

Description:

Winery/Winemaking:
"The Boiron family is one of the oldest in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. The estate presently covers 27 ha in more than 40 different plots. Several are located around the cellars and the rest throughout the appellation. Nicolas Boiron likes to separate lots according to terroir, not just to produce small amounts of special cuvees from old vines, but primarily in order to make the best possible final belnd for the regular wine."

"Nicolas prefers to make powerful, traditional wines with finesse and good acidity which, although enjoyable young, are made to age. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration take place for 4-5 weeks in temperature-controlled tanks at 26-32 degrees Celsius, with daily pumping over. Nicolas, his father, and Philippe Cambie (consulting enologist since 2003) make the final blend after malolactic fermentation. In spring, the wine is put into foudres and 600 L Russian oak demi-muids for 12-24 months. The aging cellars are also temperature-controlled."

"Bottling is done at 'Prestige & Tradition', a facility created by eight local winemakers. Once bottled, the wine is returned and stored in the estate's underground cellar for at least three months prior to shipment." - The Chateauneuf du Pape Wine Book
