"Riglos' vineyard in Gualtallary is one of the best Cabernet sites in Argentina, especially in a cooler vintage like 2013. Showing very pure varietal flavours, with dense blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, masses of dry extract, fine-grained tannins and notes of green herbs and mint supported by acidity. 2017-25" |

Description:
"Riglos winery is named after the city where the founders families first settled in Argentina. The site was planted in 2002 by DarÃo Werthein and Fabián Suffern, with the collaboration of Paul Hobbs.
Paul Hobbs fell in love with Argentina on his first visit in 1988. The potential he saw in the terroir and especially in the human element, spurred his consulting career.
Sourced exclusively from the best blocks in the Finca Las Divas Vineyard, sitting at 3,935 to 4,265 feet elevation in Gualtallary, in the Valle de Uco, Mendoza.
Inky beet red. The nose displays aromas of juicy black plum, cotton candy, blonde tobacco and underbrush. Textured like a luxurious Persian carpet, the palate introduces pomegranate, black raspberry and cranberry with hints of dark chocolate and a clean, mineral finish that reminds of wet concrete." -Winery
