WINE:
"Dark ruby red with violet hints. Aromas of cherry, black currant, and black berry jam on the nose with hints of spice and vanilla emerging later. Full and smooth on the palate with dense, sweet, round, and velvety tannins followed by a long-lasting finish. It will pair well with all meat dishes, grilled or stewed red meat and hearty pastas."
"This is 100% Merlot from south facing vineyards at 100 meters above sea level in Maremma. The soils are clay, sand, and stone. The grapes are vinified in stainless steel (inox) at controlled temperatures. Malolactic fermentation takes place in barriques. The wine is aged in barriques for 15 months and refined in bottle for another 12 months. Only 6,000 bottles made." -Importer

Gualdo Del Re is located in the Val di Cornia, a vast area featuring the most beautiful and attractive aspects of the region. The Gualdo Del Re cellars include different types of wine and olive oil they produce, all closely linked to the area." -Importer
