Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

"Delicious blackberry fruit with tobacco hints and bitter chocolate; beautiful finish. -TM" (01/13) |
Description:
Wine:
"The 2011 Liante Salice Salentino is deep ruby red in color with an expressive bouquet of plum, spice and vanilla. Rich and pure in the mouth with mixed berry, cedar and smoke. "Liante" is the "wind of the Levant" which gusts throughout the Adriatic region." - Importer
Terroir/Vinification:
"Negramaro and Malvasia Nera di Lecce are sourced from estate vineyards surrounding the 16th century winery. Grapes are hand-harvested before dawn to avoid exposure to the hot sun. The Negroamaro ripens first; typically in early September, followed by the Malvasia up to two weeks later. The grapes are macerated and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks follow by 6 months in the cellar where 25% the wine will rest in French oak and the remainder in stainless steel. 50,000 bottles produced." - Importer
Producer:
"Castello Monaci is located in Puglia's Salento region, on the "heel of the boot" that is Italy. In this emerging region, Castello Monaci is a benchmark producer crafting wines with the unique characters of Southern Italy's indigenous grapes Primitivo, Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera. The region of Puglia is drenched in the most intense sunlight in all of Italy tempered only by nearby Mediterranean Sea which provides constant, cooling maritime winds. This unique climate helps produce exquisitely balanced fruit."
"The Castello Monaci estate is housed in a 16th century castle with medieval foundations once run by Basiliani monks who maintained a long winemaking tradition. Lina Memmo, whose family has owned the estate since the 19th century, and husband Vitantonio Seracca, currently own the property which is managed by Technical Director Christian Scrinzi who oversees the viticulture and winemaking processes."
"The cellars are surrounded by over 350 acres of vineyards with additional acreage planted to experimental plantings of white varietals near Brindisi on the Adriatic Sea. Each vineyard parcel is cultivated, harvested and vinified separately in small tanks. These are wines disegnati dal sole: 'crafted by the sun.'" - Importer
This wine was also rated 87 Points by Antonio Galloni.
