You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

93 Pts Wine & Spirits

"The Sordo family has assembled an estate with holdings in their home base of Serralunga d'Alba, as well as Monforte, Barolo, La Morra, Novello, Castiglione Falleto and Grinzane Cavour. This wine represents a blend from all of those sites, creating a terrific 2009, its nebbiolo volume turned up high. There's an infectious joy in the fragrant red rose flavors that last through precisely ripe tannins and plush fruit." (12/13)

Description:

Wine:
"Garnet red with orange tones more obvious over the years; delicate, ethereal, intense, large and persistent; taste warm, full, complex, dry and harmonious. The wine's austerity is related to the presence of tannins, sweet and complex." - Winery

Winemaking/Maturation:
"The grapes are picked fully ripe and undergo a rigorous selection, the wine-making are started immediately on their arrival in the cellar. The fermentation, submerged cap, according to tradition, is extended for two or three weeks at a temperature of 29-30 degrees C."

"Mature for two years in traditional oak barrels of medium capacity and is aged for at least a year in bottle before being put on sale." - Winery
