We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

93 Pts Wine Spectator |
"Fabulous on the nose, with dark fruits and smoky, meaty undertones. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long, fruity finish. There's a lovely richness and slight decadence to this. Equal parts Petit Verdot and Sangiovese. Best after 2012. 400 cases made. -JS" (10/10) |
93 Pts James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com |
"This is richer and has more fruit than the 2006. Super clean ripe fruit, think raspberries and currants. A very long finish on this wine. It still needs some time in the bottle but is very hard to resist now. Half Sangiovese and half Petit Verdot. Try to wait until after 2012." (04/13) |
Description:
"The wine is 50% Sangiovese and 50% Petit Verdot grapes. It comes from the IGT Rosso Appellation, and the soil is large, porous rocks. The winemaking includes individual maceration and fermentation 25 days (Petit Verdot) - 20 days (Sangiovese) followed by 20 months ageing in barrique and a further 8 months in bottle." - Importer
Carpineta Fontalpino:
"Carpineta Fontalpino has been for the past 20 years one of the leading producers in the southern part of the Chianti Classico region. The Montaperti area (next to Berardenga) is famous for producing very masculine, rustic and powerful Sangiovese. The owners Gioia & Filippo Cresti along with "Top Rated winemaker" Carlo Ferrini, created a range of wines traditionally made with innovative character. 15 years ago they planted unknown varieties in Tuscany such as Petit Verdot, Alicante and Gamay getting back fantastic results." - Importer
