Please note, tonight's wine is available on presale and is expected to arrive in mid-November.

Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

90 Pts Neal Martin - Wine Journal

"The La Gorre has a very attractive bouquet with lively, vivacious black cherries, boysenberry and crushed stone that is well defined and opens nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, supple tannins. The acidity is crisp and the finish tense, with hints of graphite on the finish. This is a well-crafted Cru Bourgeois. Drink now-2018. Tasted September 2012." (11/12)

Description:

"55% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot. Dark plum fruit on the nose. There's a note that is both a little green and a little overripe. Juicy, relatively soft on the palate. Drink from 2014 to 2017. (JR)" (10/12) - 15 out of 20 Points, Jancis Robinson's Purple Pages.

Wine:
"Chateau La Gorre (or "cuvee des Cazaillots de La Gorre"), made from the most qualitative grapes, coming from the oldest parcels, and matured in oak barrels during 12 months. Authentic Medoc wine, which could age for several years, with perfect tasting balance and enticing flavours. It is the top wine of the property." -Winery

Producer:
"Located in the prestigious wine-producing region of the "Medoc",in the village of Begadan, the "Chateau La Gorre" estate is a vineyard of 12, 5 hectares which had been confirmed "Cru Bourgeois" by the 2003 ranking."

"The soil consists of clay (80%) and gravel (20%). The vines are of three different grape varieties: Merlot(55%), Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) and Petit Verdot (5%). Depending on the parcel, the density is between 6600 and 8300 plants/ha. Integrated farm management and mature harvest provide grapes of optimal quality and controlled quantity." - Winery
