**Please note, this wine is arriving next Thursday, 7/26!

The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

92 Pts Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media

"Bright yellow. Fresh orange and pear on the expressive mineral- and floral-accented nose; smells like a wine from Puligny-Montrachet. Bright and focused on the palate, offering pure citrus fruit and honeysuckle flavors and a deeper pear skin nuance. Shows alluring silkiness and very good focus on the finish, the floral note echoing." (12/11)

91 Pts Wine Spectator

"A pretty candied note of citrus peel and marzipan weaves through this firm, fresh Champagne, which is integrated with green apple, biscuit and spice notes, with a juicy, lip-smacking finish. Drink now through 2018. 300 cases made. -AN" (06/11)

90 Pts Antonio Galloni - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The NV Extra-Brut Transparence shows excellent depth and structure, with notable breadth and the broad shoulders of Pinot that dominates the wine's balance. Ripe pears, flowers and hazelnuts are some of the notes that emerge from this textured, generous Champagne. The March 2010 disgorgement and the extra time in bottle give the wine additional expressiveness. The blend is 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, based on the 2006 vintage with some 2005. The Transparence is the only cuvee here that sees malolactic fermentation. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged March 2010. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015." (11/11)

Description:

"Made of 70 percent pinot noir and 30 percent chardonnay, this is pure Verzenay, based on 2006 with some reserve wine from 2005. Pehu's wines are normally made without malolactic, yet this cuvee went through malo "by accident," and while Pehu is satisfied with the results, it's not necessarily something that he will repeat. It's unusually rich for a Pehu-Simonet wine, with nearly pineapple-like flavors under the red cherry and redcurrant fragrance, along with a biscuity depth on the palate. At the same time, it feels tense and sleekly shaped, vivid without being austere, and very lively at 3g/l of dosage. Last tasted: 10/11" 1.5 out of 3 stars, Peter Liem - Champagne Guide

WINE:
"This is a rare bone-dry Champagne that works perfectly; rich and bronzed, almost regal; thick, full and chewy and loaded with stock-y umami. Not the apex of delineation, but frankly delicious and almost robust. One gram of RS." -Importer
