Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

92 Pts Wine Enthusiast

"Finely balanced, a wine that exudes class and freshness. The green and yellow fruits fill the mouth, round but always with a layer of crispness. Everything comes together, the fruit, the acidity and the rich undertow of spice. Screwcap."

91 Pts Peter Moser - International Wine Cellar

"Medium green-yellow. Aromas of ripe pineapple and mango spiced with anise and smoky flint. Voluptuous on the palate, but with the wine's body nicely supported by plenty of juicy acidity. Crisp green apple and dark wet slate join the tropical fruit flavors, with pepper and lemongrass notes emerging on the persistent finish. Drink now to 2018."

Description:

VINEYARD:
"Loibenberg has been known as a wine mountain since 1253. It is thought to be Austria’s first vineyard. The mountain itself is much older. Nature took over 500 million years to turn its rock to gneiss. The Gruner Veltliner grapes grow a little lower on the hill where there is more loess. This lends a litheness and smoky character to the wine. Both wines have a fine structure, a lingering aftertaste, and an enormous potential to age well. This is partly due to the use of our own choice vines, a Tegernseerhof practice for centuries." -Winery

WINERY:
"In the year 1002, German King Henry II gave some acres of land in the village of Loiben as a donation to the Bavarian monastery of Tegernsee. Today’s manor from the 12th century was used in former times as a place for administration and storage by the Abbey of Tegernsee. In 1803 it became private property and has been possessed for five generations by our family."

"The 'Weingut Tegernseerhof' is a family enterprise with approximately 24 hectares of vineyards in the best crus (called 'Rieden' in Austrian) of the Wachau such as Loibenberg, Kaiserberg, Krautles, Superin, Kellerberg, Steinertal or in Krems such as Wolfsgraben, Sandgrube and Weinzierlberg."

"Soil maintenance and plant protection is very carefully done. Green cover protects the earth against drainage and erosion. Permanent mowing of the weeds provides enough humus for the vines. Moderate pruning and thinning out the grapes in years of unfavourable weather conditions, guarantees healthy and ripe grapes in good quality."

"The Mittelbach family mainly produce white wines: Gruner Veltliner, Riesling and a small volume of Chardonnay. The red varieties are: Blauer Zweigelt and Blauburger." -Winery
