Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

92 Pts Antonio Galloni - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The single-vineyard 2004 Chianti Rufina Riserva Vigneto Bucerchiale is an expansive, layered wine. There is a lovely vibrancy to the dark fruit, along with notes of tobacco, spices and leather that come forward in the glass. This is a refined Bucerchiale, with beautifully integrated tannins and finesse to spare. Why can’t more Chiantis be like this? Anticipated maturity: 2010-2022. Consulting oenologist Franco Bernabei oversees winemaking at Selvapiana, one of Chianti’s historic properties." 92 Points - Antonio Galloni - Wine Advocate

"There's a good thick layer of ripe black cherry on the nose and palate, with hints of cedar and citrus fruits. Full-bodied, round and silky, with clean fruit and a long finish. This is nice now, but should age gracefully as well. Lively. Drink now. 2,160 cases made. –JS" 91 Points - Wine Spectator

WINE:
"Made from 100% single-vineyard Sangiovese from old vines - some planted in 1968 - on the Bucerchiale parcel. Extra-long maceration with the skins (20 to 25 days) and daily pumpovers provide superb flavor extraction and color concentration. After malolactic fermentation has been fully carried out, the wine is matured in barriques and medium-sized oak casks for 15 months and then blended together in steel tanks before bottling. The wine is further refined in bottle for additional 10 months before release.

The meticulous care devoted to producing this wine makes Bucerchiale one of the finest wines in the Rufina area, and an outstanding example of Sangiovese."

"Intense ruby red in color, it offers suave flavors of cherry, red currants and violets, nicely integrated with elegant notes of tobacco, leather and wood. Pure, full-bodied and fleshy, with a solid structure and superfine tannins. The balanced acidity, typical of the wines of Chianti, gives substantial consistency to the juicy texture. A wine made for long aging, some of the bottles in Selvapiana's cellars date back to 1947. Recommended with rich meat dishes and barbecue." -Importer
