Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.
Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $64.98 and we are the best and only price online. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results.
Free Shipping on every order of 2 or more bottles!

Description:
"This shows quite a bit more fatness and weight to it, with a good burst of fruit and a great complimenting stony, crushed rock quality. This too should age well for 7 to 8 more years, but offers up great drinking pleasure now. Less than 125 cases were made." -Ian Dorin - Wine Director
VINEYARD:
"Located in the Southern part of the Côte de Beaune, Chassagne Montrachet is one of the 5 villages belonging to the prestigious Côte des Blancs. East and South-East oriented, the soil of the Premiers Crus from Chassagne is mainly made of clay and chalk. La Romanée is located in the southern part of the village, next to Les Grandes Ruchottes and not far from Morgeot, in the higher part of the vineyards on a clayish soil." -Winery
ESTATE:
"Lamy-Pillot is a family-owned estate located in Chassagne Montrachet. There are 20 hectares of vines, and we work from the vines to the bottle. We produce 80,000-100,000 bottles each year, in 30 different red and white wine appellations."
"In 1973, Rene and Therese Lamy-Pillot, both coming from winemaking families, built their winery in the hamlet of Morgeot in Chassagne-Montrachet. They work side by side farming the parcels, vinifying, and selling their harvest each year."
"Over the years, due to their hard work and dedication, the domaine grew stronger. Today the domaine has 20 hectares of vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint Aubin, Santenay, Meursault, and Beaune."
"We work with simple values. Wine from our Burgundy vineyards must not be a product doctored by technology. Nature imposes her rules, giving different conditions each year, thus creating different wines from one year to the next. We do not try to make wines that are identical every vintage, but we take the best from that year, respecting and caring for each of the steps from vine to bottle." -Importer
