Cinderella Wine says: Product Details:
Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $14.98. There is 1 other store that sells this wine for $15.99. You must be logged into the Pro Version of Wine Searcher to see all of the results.

Due to the savings present here we cannot offer free shipping!

Please Note it may take 24-48 hours for your order to be put together for store pickup. You'll get an email when it's ready for pick up.

91 Pts Josh Raynolds - Vinous Media

"Glass-staining ruby. Wild, pungent scents of redcurrant, cherry pit, anise and musky herbs, plus a hint of fresh tobacco leaf. Sappy, spicy, penetrating red fruit flavors give way to a darker blackcurrant quality in the middle palate and pick up a violet pastille element. Nicely concentrated and precise, finishing with impressive grip and a long, subtly sweet finish. I'd let this wine age for at least another three years." 91 Points - Josh Raynolds - International Wine Cellar

"The 2009 Regnie Cuvee des Braves - whose name refers to the best sector of the Rochette's home appellation - displays seriously mineral and carnal complexity, mingling smoked meat, crushed stone, smoky black tea and smoldering leaves with a luscious, bright alliance of red currant, red raspberry and elderberry. The saline, smoky, berry-refreshing finish here will leave you smacking your lips. Follow it for 2-3 years."

"I know only the rudiments of Joel and Matthieu Rochette’s operation and I did not taste their 2008 collection, but the fruits of their hand-harvested fruit from old vines really spoke for themselves in 2009 and – based on pricing set by the importer for previous vintages – should prove a superb source of value." 90 Points - David Schildknecht - Wine Advocate

REGNIE:
"Régnié is the most recently created of the Beaujolais Crus, the appellation having received its official decree only in 1988. As such it is still relatively unknown, and remains to be discovered by many. The 650 hectares of gently sloping vineyards are situated at an average altitude of some 300 metres, around the pretty village of Régnié-Durette, known for its church with twin bell-towers (see picture). Soils are mainly granitic and sandy, and rich in the minerals necessary for the Gamay to flourish."

"Régnié wines vary in style somewhat, with many being relatively light, yet supple, with good structure, cherry-red in colour, with aromas of redcurrant, blackberry, and raspberry, perhaps not unlike a Brouilly, and best drunk young. Others however are more full-bodied with more structure, and may be aged for a few years. Régnie is excellent with white meats, roast pork, cheeses, and is particularly good with mushroom-based dishes. Tradition dictates that new Regnié should not be consumed before the springtime after it is made." -Importer

This wine was also scored 85 Points by the Wine Spectator.
