Description:

2005 Chat Quinault Lafleur Kasher:
"The first kosher released from this chateau and certainly a winner. Dark, almost impenetrable ruby towards garnet in color, medium- to full-bodied with gently mouth-coating tannins and a judicious hand with spicy oak. On first attack blackberries and cassis, thoseyielding to raspberries and black cherries, all on a background that hints of dark minted chocolate. Long and generous. Approachable and enjoyable now but best 2011-2022." -93 Points - Daniel Rogov - Guide To Israeli Wines

"Proprietors Francoise and Alain Raynaud have introduced a kosher cuvee, the 2005 Quinault Lafleur Kasher. This impeccably made, seriously endowed, dense ruby/purple-tinged effort reveals beautiful blueberry and raspberry fruit, medium body, but less power, richness, and depth than its more noble sibling. Nevertheless, it is a brilliant wine for drinking over the next 15+ years." -89-91 Points - Robert Parker - Wine Advocate

WINE:
"The emblematic Château Quinault, Great Growth of Saint Emilion, is located in the heart of Libourne, and is still the pride of this town with its outstanding old vines. The soil of warm gravel of this old vineyard allows a superbe ripening of the vines, that comprise mostly Merlot, a judicious choice of a variety that yields round, delicate and full-bodied wine. The extremely fastidious wine making gets the best of this "terroir", by expressing the very same elegance and structure great wines possess." -Importer

2005 Massolino Barolo :
"This is so pure and beautiful on the nose, with strawberry and raspberry character. Full-bodied, with silky tannins and pretty fruit in reserve. Long and silky. A beautiful blended Barolo. Best after 2012. 1,800 cases made." -92 points Wine Spectator

WINE:
"The estate's classic Barolo is ruby red in color. It has aromas of plums and berries with hints of meat. Full-bodied with soft, round tannins and a long, long finish." -Importer

This scored 89 points by Antonio Galloni of the Wine Advocate and 88 points in the Wine Enthusiast.

2006 Seven Hills Klipsun Cabernet Sauvignon :
"Dense, powerful and profuse with its ripe cherry, blackberry, dark chocolate and herb aromas and flavors, persisting impressively on the long, expressive finish. Best from 2012 through 2020. 350 cases made." -92 Points - Wine Spectator

This wine was also scored 89 points by the Wine Enthusiast as well as 89+ points from Jay Miller in the Wine Advocate.

2004 Samuel's Gorge Shiraz :
"Fashioned from 40-year old vines, the opaque purple-tinged 2004 Shiraz reveals classic blackberry and cassis characteristics interwoven with notions of licorice and smoke. A meaty constitution offers density, richness, and plenty of fruit, glycerin, and extract. The richest of this trio, it should age gracefully for a decade or more given its impeccable balance." -91 Points - Robert Parker - Wine Advocate

2004 Quinta Do Noval Vintage Port :
"With its inky dark color, this is darkly dense, a huge mouthful of black fruits and dark, initially medicinal flavors and firm, concentrated tannins. It will age 20 years at least, but its sweet, ripe fruit suggest it could be drunk much earlier than that." -93 Points - Wine Enthusiast

"Has lots of grapey, stemmy, rich aromas. Full-bodied, lightly sweet and chewy, with plenty of grip. Layered and rich. Serious and structured. All there for the vintage. Best after 2017." -92 Points - Wine Spectator

2004 Pian Cornello Brunello Di Montalcino :
"PianCornello opens with very nice intensity and a dark Brunello color with aromas of cured meat, ripe blackberry and exotic spice. It’s a bigger, thicker expression of the wine with firm tannins and ripe berry flavors backed by just enough acidity to keep the palate refreshed." -91 points Wine Enthusiast

This scored 89 points by Antonio Galloni from the Wine Advocate, 88 points in the Wine Spectator, and 88 points by Stephen Tanzer of the International Wine Cellar.
