Please note that there is one price on Wine Searcher for Lagrezette Dame Honneur at $22.99. After looking into it, this store does not have the wine and this was the cause for the delay in releasing the pack.
The Lagrezette Dame Honneur is 92% Malbec and 8% Merlot from Cahors in France and the ABV is 14.5%. The Baptiste Boutes is 50% Syrah, 30% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre from the Minervois region in France and the ABV is 14.5%.
Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart! You will get a confirmation from us when your order is confirmed.
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.
Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher Pro prices as of yesterday: The best combined price on Wine Searcher for these wines is $80.98 as of today!

Description:
2003 Chateau Lagrezette Cahors Cuvee Dame Honneur:
"Just a small proportion of Merlot smoothes out the hard Malbec edges in this impressive cuvee from Chateau Lagrezette. It is certainly powerful, the wood prominent but not too dominant. With advice from Michel Rolland, this shows great polish without losing entirely that mineral, dark edge. Age for 5â6 years." -Wine Enthusiast
"Very suave and spicy, with a toasty aroma and loads of dark plum, blackberry and cassis flavors. The luscious finish echoes the fruit and features lots of meat, dark chocolate and stone. Impressive for the vintage. Malbec with Merlot. Drink now through 2015. 450 cases imported." -91 Points Wine Spectator
"This cuvee is produced from the oldest vines of the estate, situated on the Causse and on the third terrace of the Lot. Yields are kept between 25 and 30 hl/ha and the total annual production is approximately 10,000 bottles. A blend of 92% Auxerrois (Malbec) and 8% Merlot, the two grape varieties combining to give a wine that is both powerful and round, the Cuvee Dame Honneur is aged 24 months in oak barrels and is blended just before bottling. A true vin de garde, the Cuvee Dame Honneur will age gracefully over some twenty-five years."
2005 Baptiste Boutes Minervois:
"The Baptiste-Boutes 2005 Minervois - a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre from the team that produce the wines of La Negly - was already described in more detail in issue 173. But as it is still on the market, it is worth once again tasting and again commending its juicy, fresh, herb- and pepper-tinged black fruits and its depth of flavor, softness of texture, and sheer lip-smacking finish. Enjoy this excellent value over the next year or two." -88 points- David Schildknecht- Wine Advocate
WINEMAKER:
This wine is made by Claude Gros, one of the most important oenologists in the Languedoc region. Jancis Robinson a great article on Claude Gros in 2008 and his many winemaking projects around the world, including Chateau de la Negly, La Peira en Damaisela, Mas Champart, Domaine Calvet Thunevin, etc.
