@David T: Gut feeling, but I doubt CW will be offering AH MA RO NAY solo. It was mentioned before that it would prob be packaged with Brunello and/or Barolo or similar Italian offering(s). That would damper the purchases, or at least the multiple purchases, IMHO.

@flyerfan – It’s Tinazzi’s Ca’ de’ Rocchi Amarone della Valpolicella doc La Bastia that gets the high praise (several awards in Europe). But that’s the one that gets the severe grape selection. I suspect it would not be at the level of many of the better Amarones but at the deal it would fall in line with many of the Valpolicella Ripasso’s at a similar price.

@Julius – what are your thoughts on that deal, now with the change to ’06? Good for an Amarone novice at that price?
