Talento is based around Monastrell - AKA Mourvedre, Mataro, or Garrut depending on where it's cultivated - the thick-skinned varietal known for making wines that are intense, tannic, and meaty wines with great power! In fact, the tannin structure on the varietal is so potent that it earned the nickname "the dog strangler" (étrangle-chien) in France for its level of dryness! But rest assured here, the balance produced from the outstanding team at Ego has this wine humming on all cylinders! Bright fruit notes, tons of depth and character, and a zippy, fresh finish!
