92 Pts James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com |
"Aromas of blackberry, blueberry, tar and vanilla. Itâs full-bodied with medium chewy tannins. Fleshy with a smoky feel and a slightly tannic finish with some length. Turns firm at the finish. Drink or hold." |
91 Pts Luis Gutierrez - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate |
"The 2019 Estate Malbec was produced with 100% of the grapes from Valle de Uco (Campo de los Andes), one-third from their own vineyards, a place that brings good freshness, especially in a cool year like 2019. It fermented in concrete vats, with half of the volume aged in lightly toasted used oak barrels for 12 months. It's fresh, fruit forward and with very soft tannins, varietal, juicy and grapey, with aromas of violets and blue fruit and unnoticeable oak, juicy, round and lush, with ripe flavors. 417,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2020." |
