90 Pts Luis Gutierrez - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"There is a 2012 Ars Memoria, a pure Cabernet Sauvignon with 15% alcohol and a combination of ripe blackberries and balsamic and herbal aromas. The grapes were sourced from limestone-rich soils and fermented with indigenous yeasts. The wine matured in 300-liter French oak barrels with lees. They always age the wines for some extra time and release them when they are polished and ready to drink, as is the case here. The nose is quite classical and the palate revealed abundant, slightly dusty tannins. It could have a bit more mid palate. 5,000 bottles were filled in April 2017."

Description:

"A deep, dark plum colour.

A mature nose with notes of blackcurrant (cassis), spices, black pepper, chocolate and cedar.

Fine tannins on the palate, with plenty of volume, persistent, pleasant, with a long and elegant finish.
 Fresh and elegant." - Winery
