Orlando Abrigo is considered one of the best producers of Barbaresco in Piedmont. That being said, a great way of getting his wines, without the Barbaresco price point, is drinking some of the other wines that they make.

The Roreto Barbera D'Alba is an estate grown and produced wine that is fuller than most other Barbera. These are some of the oldest vines they own, planted in 1965. The vines produce more complex and much more satisfying Barbera that some of the normal table wines of Piedmont. The wine has a ton of fruit on the palate with a refined, long, and satisfying finish. This is a wine that is ready to drink now, but with the quality of the grapes, can also be consumed a few years down the line.
