After tasting all of the current vintage Bzikot wines, this is the one that stands out in the group!
Bzikot is an extremely small producer in Burgundy that specializes in Chardonnay. These wines are made in extremely small quantities, and even less of them are imported into the US. Santenay is a small appellation in Burgundy where most wine is red. This is one of the only single vineyard White Burgundy made in the entire appellation and there is only 2 barrels of the wine produced. In total, only 10 cases were imported into the US and we were able to secure some of them for you!
This wine is the definition or over delivering. The first thing we thought of while tasting this wine is how similar it is to Cru Puligny-Montrachet. It is absolutely stunning and the quality is as good as his wines that go for $70-$100.
For us, this is an absolute no brainer for Chardonnay lovers, and especially Burgundy lovers. You do not want to miss out on this one!
