This pack includes one bottle each of 2017 Craven Wines 'Faure Vineyard' Pinot Noir (91 VM), and 2014 Capiaux Widdoes Pinot Noir (92 WA).

2017 Craven Wines 'Faure Vineyard' Pinot Noir

"The 2017 Pinot Noir comes from a parcel adjacent to Meerlustâs vines, around 21 years of age, of the 115 clone. It has a fresh, earthy, almost Morey-Saint-Denis-like bouquet, the granite soils imparting a sense of masculinity. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannin, and the 100% whole-cluster fruit lends a slight Dujac-like finish. No surprise that Mick Craven actually did a harvest at Dujac in his mid-twenties. I think the Seysses family would applaud this."
2014 Capiaux Widdoes Pinot Noir

"The 2014 Pinot Noir Widdoes Vineyard, which comes from the cold Green Valley, exhibits deep berry notes, an almost briary character, with loamy soil undertones, some subtle oak, lots of red and black cherries, and a hints of pomegranate and plum. It is medium to full-bodied, and again, another beautiful wine from Capiaux to drink over the next 5-8 years."
