92 Pts William Kelley - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The 2015 Mercurey 1er Cru Les Ruelles is a superb wine that's crying out for some time in the cellar. Notes of sweet red cherry, plum preserve, incipient forest floor and a creamy but judicious framing of new oak precede a supple, medium to full-bodied wine with lovely succulent acids and exceptionally ripe, velvety tannins. The combination of ripe fruit and racy acids is already quite dramatic, but this needs some time to shed its baby fat and reveal its terroir. Very promising indeed."

Description:

"Intense garnet ruby colour. The nose is discreet with dark fruits aromas. Greatly potential. Full-bodied wine with firm and powerful tanins." - Winery
