"Opaque dark bright violet color. Lively, spicy, attractive complex aromas and flavors of artisanal chocolate drizzled berries and coconut, roasted green pepper, olives, and spicy pickle with a soft, bright, dryish medium-full body and a tingling, medium-long cassis tart, eucalyptus and herbs, roasted root vegetables, and menthol mint finish with well-integrated, chewy tannins and moderate oak. A fantastically complex combination of rich dark fruit, spicy oak, and rampant savoriness."

"A graceful, silky wine with aromas of black cherry cola, caramel and a hint of green olive, and flavors of plum and coriander spice. The wine is impeccably balanced between the fruit/spice components and the savory tannins, each sip enticing you to take another.

Our Cabernet vineyard was harvested on October 18th. As always, we hand-picked, then carefully sorted and delivered the fruit to the crush pad within hours of harvest. After a short cold soak, the wine was fermented to dry and again allowed to soak for several days. The wine was aged for 18 months in a combination of high quality French, American and Hungarian oak barrels, 40% new." - Winery
