Description:

If there was one offer to buy by the case ... it might very well be this one! This is ultra clean and crisp and screams out for warm weather!

"Giorgio Cicchero’s family has been producing wine since 1883. Together with longtime friend Pier Carlo Bergaglio, a prestigious Gavi and Dolcetto producer in Ovada, have teamed up to produce UO’ Rosê.

They first started the concept in 1978 after Giorgio came back from a vacation in the south of France where he discovered the Rosé wines of Provence and fell in love.

Over the following 28 years, Giorgio and his father tried to replicate a style similar to a Provencal Rosé with little success. Harvest after harvest, the wine was not good enough for bottling. In 2006 they finally developed the right formula.

The wine is full of fruit with the unique intense almond notes typical of the Dolcetto d’Ovada grapes" - Winery
