This pack includes one bottle of 2012 Chateau de Santenay Bourgogne Rouge Vieilles Vignes (90 Decanter), one bottle of 2014 Domaine Barat Chablis 1er Cru Monts de Milieu (92 Burghound), and one bottle of 2014 Oliver Merlin Macon La Roche Vineuse Blanc.

2012 CHATEAU DE SANTENAY BOURGOGNE ROUGE VIEILLES VIGNES
90 Points Decanter: " Sweet, delicate raspberry nose, with a hint of oak. Medium-bodied, sleek and textured, with plenty of fruit and moderate acidity. A long finish to a Pinot Noir with typicity and fruit for the future."
2014 DOMAINE BARAT CHABLIS 1ER CRU MONTS DE MILIEU
92 Points Allen Meadows - Burghound: "'Top Value'. Just like the Cote de Lechet this would be an impossible wine to miss identifying as coming from Chablis with its cool and pure aromas of tidal pool, iodine, algae and mineral reduction. As is usually the case this is the biggest wine in the range with solid volume and concentration adding size and weight to the delicious flavors that display plenty of minerality on the intense, minerally and citrus-inflected finale. This will need a few years to develop depth and better harmonize."
2014 OLIVER MERLIN MACON LA ROCHE VINEUSE BLANC
"Beautiful pale gold colour. Highly-fruited nose on the theme of exotic fruits. In the mouth, the minerality of its terroir is fully expressed. Good balance between alcohol and acidity. A refreshing wine to be drunk young." -Winery
"Olivier Merlin is considered one of the most important producers in the Maconnais in southern Burgundy. So much so that the prolific winemaker Dominique Lafon sought him out to partner together to recreate the epic estate Chateau des Quarts in Pouilly-Fuisse. The wine may not be Puligny-Montrachet, or Meursault, but this little Macon blanc is a great expression of Olivier's mineral laden vineyards. The soil is quaternary limestone-clay soil (Middle Bathonian). Direct pressing of whole crop and very gentle settling. 85% undergoes alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and 15% in oak barrels. 100% malolactic fermentation. Bottling follows 18 month elevage and light filtration. No finings. Average yield is 60hl/ha." - Importer
