Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $59.99. There are 2 other stores that sell this at $59.99 and $69.99. Please note, we are not taking virtual inventory into account.

92 Pts James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com

"Lots of dried-berry, burnt-orange and dark-chocolate aromas. Full body, juicy tannins and a spicy, coffee, walnut and berry aftertaste. Needs time to soften. A blend of 90% sangiovese and 10% merlot. Better in 2016."

Description:

Wine:
"Gigio is the estate's first-born and flagship wine. It is a blend of Sangiovese (90%) and Teroldego (10%). Aged for three years before release, it is the product of the most mature and fully developed fruit in the vineyard. We pull all the stops for this wine. And it shows in the glass. It is a complex, age-worthy wine, with deep colors and lively fruits, with persistent acidity and finish. We like to think of it as a wine for meditation" - Winery

Winery:
"The estate was founded by husband and wife team, Enzo Schiano and Claire Beliard, in 2000. Nestled in the hills of Fiesole, Tuscany, facing south/south-west, the property sits in some of the most beautiful countryside just outside Florence, amidst hills sprinkled with medieval bell towers and castle ruins.

The property consists of one vineyard (5 acres) cultivated with mostly Sangiovese grapes and a small percentage of Teroldego, in a mix of older vines (15 years+) and younger ones (8 years+). The vineyard thanks to its small size and human dimension is cared for maniacally making it a real jewel.

From the beginning, we set out to farm organically and have been certified organic since 2006." - Winery
