Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $28.99. We are the best and only price on the web. Please note, we are not taking virtual inventory into account.

Free shipping on orders of 4 bottles or more!

90 Pts Mike Bennie - The Wine Front

"Golden colour, big, bold aromas but not of the buttery, toasty kind - there’s a flint-mineral edge and touch of struck match coupled with just a lick of aroma lifting VA. Theme of candlewax/beeswax, into the body of the wine too - holding in the leaner, bright fruit characters in a cuddly embrace. Feels careless in shape and size but it’s an attractive 'light-and-space' that I see, and the underbelly of bright, natural acidity gives quartz-like minerality to the flavour profile. It's generous without being too obvious, and rich not flabby, an exciting proposition. Very interesting, good drinking wine. Individual." Reviewed April 2012, Drink:2012-2018+

90 Pts Huon Hooke - www.huonhooke.com

"Medium yellow colour. Very appealing mealy, cashew nutty, and faintly malty aromas; creaminess of malolactic is evident. Quite full flavour, soft and savoury, mellow and rich, very dry finishing and has decent length. Good acidity and firm finish with a touch of grip, but in balance. A trace of alcohol warmth. Drink by 2016. "May 2012

Description:

Mike Bennie, the Wine Front
'A lot of ferrous ironstone in the clay soils that the chardonnay grows on - very red clay and sandstone - with pockets of buckshot and high silica content', says Ngeringa's Erinn Klein. Settled overnight, oxidative handled, whole bunch pressed, spontaneous ferment, full malo, average barrel age is 5 to 6 years old with 15% new oak, or so, dash of sulphur just before bottling. "We consistently see a dry, mineral character in the wine, it's certainly not tropical, we see more savoury here, seeing full bodied but not being into the 80s chardonnay way".

About Ngeringa
Ngeringa is a boutique certified biodynamic vineyard and winery specialising in classic, fine wines that are full of vitality and born of tradition.

Our vineyards are located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, South Australia, a region reputed for producing some of Australia’s most elegant cool climate wines.

Winemaker, Erinn Klein and co-founder, Janet Klein create Ngeringa wines in soil that has been nurtured with great care. Originally part of the world-renowned Jurlique herb farm, this land has been certified biodynamic for more than 20 years. Ngeringa is one of Australia’s original biodynamic winegrowing pioneers.

Chardonnay Production
The fruit for NGERINGA Chardonnay comes from our east-facing Summit vineyard at 380m above sea level on a soil of sandy loam over clay. The top of the vineyard has views over Lake Alexandrina and the mouth of the Murray, which make themselves known on summer evenings with a strong cooling breeze despite daytime temperatures. The vines are planted at a density of 6800 vines/ha.

Picked at 12° Baume. All natural acidity. Whole-bunch pressed. 100% malolactic fermentation. No battonage. Wild fermentation, no enzymes, oxidative handling pre-fermentation, spontaneous malolactic fermentation, gentle extraction, warmer fermentation, minimal temperature control. No fining. Estate bottled. Small amounts of sulphites added before bottling.
