Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $23.98. There is 1 store that sells this for $25.95. Please note, we are not taking virtual inventory into account.

93 Pts James Suckling - Jamessuckling.com

"A serious red with beautiful intensity and ripeness plus dark fruits such as black currants and blueberries. Loads of fruit. Full body, soft and silky tannins, and a long and flavorful finish. Drink or hold." Reviewed July, 2015

92 Pts Neal Martin - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

"The 2009 B Crux Blend consists of 50% Malbec, 35% Tempranillo and 15% Touriga Nacional aged in 80% French and 20% oak, of which 50% is new. It has exquisite delineation and focus on the nose: brambly black fruit, subtle earthy scents, wild woodland and a touch of white pepper. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, extremely pure fruit of blackberry and mulberry that leads to a delicate, poised and yet flavor-rich finish. What I like about the wine can be encapsulated in one word: personality. Drink now-2020. " Reviewed October, 2012

91 Pts Stephen Tanzer - Vinous Media

"15% alcohol; 50% malbec, 35% tempranillo and 15% touriga nacional): Bright medium ruby. High-pitched perfume of blackberry, licorice and violet. Dense, pure and concentrated, with black fruit and spice flavors nicely framed by ripe, harmonious acidity. High in alcohol but not obviously hot. Finishes with noteworthy strength, precision and grip." Reviewed March, 2013

Description:

About the Region
The La Consulta region is located in the well-known Uco Valley, approximately 1,200 metres (3,950 ft.) above sea level. At this altitude, there is a significant fluctuation between daytime and night-time temperatures of up to 20°-25°C. This variance particularly favours the production of wines with an excellent colour and suitable for long ageing in oak barrels.

The region's stony and sandy soils offer excellent drainage during the summer season. The lack of organic material, limited rainfall and prevailing winds are also conductive to high quality, healthy grapes. Furthermore, the water that irrigates the estates comes pure and clean from the snow thawing on the Andes. - Winery
