Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!
You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!
Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

"This is aromatic, sporting notes of cherry, licorice and tar, with a hint of truffle. There's a lot of punch packed into a slim, vibrant profile, lingering beautifully. Nebbiolo and Vespolina. Drink now through 2020. 400 cases made." Reviewed 2/28/2015
About the Winery
"Francesca's Fara is a classic Alto Piemonte blend of 70% nebbiolo with 30% Vespolina from 11 year old vines at 300 meters above sea level in 0.4 hectares in the commune of Briona. Vinified separately in temperature controlled stainless steel for fourteen days and then blended together after aging in used oak for 26 months, it much reminds us of the wines of the region. Bright cherry with a touch of rhubarb, and present but supporting tannins. Only 250 cases produced, and except for our allocation, this wine is SOLD OUT in Italy."
"Francesca Castaldi grew up in winemaking: both sides of her family had vineyards, and her father began bottling his own wines in the 1950s. Francesca had Fara in her veins, so in 1997, she decided to purchase her own vineyards and connect with her family history by producing wines under her own label. She completely replanted four hectares of prime Fara using clones from her father's vineyard and in the 2005 harvest produced just a few hundred bottles of her first Fara. In 2011, she renovated her father's cantina to make room for her new production, but it is still relatively small. The estate has grown to 6.5 hectares, but the cases produced are extremely limited. The appellation of Fara consists of 20 hectares of vineyards with only 10 bottler/producers in the communes of Briona or Fara Novarese. This is great news for us: at this scale, Francesca Castaldi is making stunning wines with incredible attention to detail and adherence to a winemaking tradition that her family traces back into the 1700s!
