"Our Nottage Hill Chardonnay possesses lifted ripe stone fruit characters of white peach and nectarine with toasty oak hints adding complexity. A well balanced wine with plenty of stone fruit and lively citrus characters giving great flavour and a pleasant lingering finish. Seamlessly integrated vanillin oak gives complexity, while a tight acid structure provides backbone that enhances flavour, depth and length. An ideal accompaniment to grilled chicken dishes."
About the Nottage Hill Line
"Old Tom Nottage was the nephew of our founder, Thomas Hardy. He worked for his uncle for more than 66 years, through two generations of the Hardy family and on his retirement it seemed only fitting that his dedication be recognized. Therefore one of our prime vineyards was renamed Nottage Hill, in his honor. Since then Nottage Hill has grown in popularity and every bottle is a vibrant, full-bodied and rich expression of classic Australian grape varietals; delivering a rare concentration of fruit flavour together with a soft, smooth palate texture."
