Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Price on Web is determined by Wine-Searcher prices as of yesterday: Wine Library sells this for our sale price of $10.98. There is 1 store that sells this for $10.99. Please note, we are not taking virtual inventory into account.

Free shipping on orders of 6 bottles or more!

Description:

Tasting notes:
Pale lemon in colour. A beautifully fragrant nose, with citrus & tropical fruit flavours bursting out of the glass. The Stickleback White is a wine greater than the sum of its parts, with each variety bringing its own unique quality to the blend. Verdelho adds natural richness and acidity to the palate. Semillon provides vibrant, zesty citrus characters. Viognier contributes luscious body and texture. Flavours of white nectarine and apricot kernel are perfectly balanced by a crisp natural acidity on the finish. Fresh & lively, it makes a perfect summertime drink.

Food suggestions:
Fresh seafood, salt & pepper squid, seared scallops, or Thaistyle spicy food.

Vinification:
All components were harvested relatively early in the season for maximum freshness and bright acidity. Minimal skin contact and cool fermentation on lees has heightened the mouth-feel of the wine.

2011 vintage:
Vintage 2011 was a cooler and wetter season, with much more rain than average in both Langhorne Creek & Limestone Coast. The cooler temperatures experienced in summer and autumn allowed for high natural acidity and excellent balance in our white varieties.

About Heartland Wines
Barossa Vintners is the first of its kind. Conceived as a state-of-the-art winemaking facility with the capacity to make wines for a core group of top end producers whose fame and demand had grown beyond their winemaking capacities. Completed in 1995, Barossa Vintners was developed by these industry leaders to minimize labour needs in the winery and make wines in the most natural possible way. The natural slope of the land allows the winery to be gravity fed and avoid harsh pumping of the grapes and juice. At the centre of all this is Ben Glaetzer, the winemaker at Barossa Vintners, with all the conceivable equipment and resources he needs to create the wines he wants. This is where Ben crafts. This is where Heartland wines are made.
