"The color is vibrant and lit from within: a vivid, shell pink with a coral edge. On the nose, find wild delicate strawberry and Meyer lemon with notes of fresh straw, citrus flowers and white pepper. These enticing aromas set the stage for the palate of fresh strawberry, pineapple, lemony crispness and hints of sweet herb. This rose is forward and focused, with lingering tart cherry and bright acidity that invigorates the taste buds. It is nicely structured with a weighty finish. We recommend you enjoy this refreshing wine as an aperitif, or paired with charcuterie like Jamon Iberico, fennel salami and capicolo or grilled salmon with tarragon aioli, Indian vegetable curry or a grilled pork loin with roasted red pepper."

"SIMI is fortunate to have three Alexander Valley estate vineyards, including our Los Amigos vineyard in which we grew all of the Cabernet Sauvignon fruit for this Rosé. Los Amigos is a classic, valley floor vineyard possessing sandy loam soils that are ideal for growing Bordeaux varietals. The varied soil types in this vineyard produce different flavor profiles among the vines and wines that express the best characteristics of Alexander Valleyâs eastern benchlandsâvelvety texture and bright, luscious flavors. A small percentage of Syrah from Sonoma Coast was blended in, adding a bit of elegance and weight on the palate to deliver a more food-friendly wine."
