Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

95 Pts Luca Maroni - Annuario dei Migliori Vini Italiani

"An explosion of sweet fruit, spice and a beautifully powerful body. The deep color is as dark as blackberry. The aromas of the pure grape pulp are clear and unadulterated. Color and aromas are perfectly extracted and well balanced. The smoothness envelops the tannins. Excellent winemaking is able to show off the pure, beautiful fruit. The wine is an essence of nature, technique, spirit, aroma and pleasure. It is among the top red wines of the year, pure harmony of blackberry aromas in every respect.”

Description:

Tasting Note:
"Chiccheio is a deep-colored wine made of 100% organically grown Cabernet Sauvignon (95%) and Merlot (5%). An explosion of fruit aromas, cherries, sour cherries and other ripe fruit. Smooth, soft and well balanced with well integrated tannins. A complex wine perfect for meditation, best alone or paired with aged cheeses. As a family operated winery, it is family that inspires the names of some of the wines. Chiccheio is the name the owner’s little nephew used to call his aunt Enrica (Chicca) and uncle Aurelio (Eio). Winery:
"Cavalierino winery is 100% committed to providing the highest quality wines in the most respectful way to nature and health. Located on top of the Poggiano hill, surrounded by forest, it sits in a naturally organic island. The top of the hill location (at 450mt a.s.l.) allows the vineyard a full day sun bath, with constant ventilation(thus preventing bacteria proliferation) and good temperature change between day and night.

Most vineyard operations are done manually, fertilizers are oganic, grass is kept between the rows to create a natural fertilizer while keeping a natural level of humidity during the warm summer season. Green harvest is performed to obtain the best possible maturation and grape quality. Harvest is done manually. Vinification is done in stainless steel before the wine is transferred to oak for appropriate ageing. Renowned winemaker Mario Ercolino oversees the production and is sure to make Cavalierino the next big hit in the growing Montcalm portfolio." - Importer
