Please note, orders are processed on a first come basis. If you leave the wine in your cart for even a few minutes it might have already sold out as our stock quantity is removed when you submit the order in final, not when you add it to your cart!

You will get two emails from us with regards to your order. The first email from us only confirms that we received your order. The second email will confirm that we have enough wine to fill your order. Due to the high volume of sales there are times when the wine has sold out, but our system is still updating and shows it as available. We're sorry for any inconvenience and will do what we can to fill your order!

Thanks to your feedback we might bring back some of Cinderella Wine's popular previous offers. If a wine makes another appearance here, this newer offer will always be slightly higher than the original one. Offers that are on the site on Friday through Sunday will be shipped on Monday.

Best Buy
"This greets the taster with a heady aromas of yellow spring flowers, as well as whiffs of tropical fruit. The palate delivers intense peach, apricot and citrus flavors accented by notes of mineral and brine. -KO" (03/14)

Description:

Wine:
"Bright straw yellow color, the nose with fruity-citrus hints. On the palate it is warm and round, in great balance, excellent structure, with a hint of softness in a finish of good persistence." - Winery

Producer:
"La Murola is a family-owned winery in the Macerata province of Le Marche. For over 200 years they have owned 60 ha. dedicated to the cultivation of indigenous grape varieties. These vineyards have an ideal location between the Adriatic Sea to the immediate East, the Sibillini mountains to the West, and the protected Abbadia di Fiastra natural reserve to the North. In fact, part of the La Murola vineyards lie within the confines of this natural reserve! The vines grow at an elevation of 300 meters above sea level." - Importer

"Generations have succeeded one another on this land, each one taking good care of it with loads of love and respect, handing it to the following ones, being sure it was in good hands."

"The land, the vineyards and the wine are the bond that unites us together, because nothing ties more than a permanent memory, a continuity of emotions that, punctually, repeat themselves, ancient and new. Always stunning." - Winery

VARIETY:
"Italy is a country that is well known for its plethora of indigenous grape varieties. One of the most iconic in white wine is Verdicchio. Grown mostly in the region of Marche, this area is southeast of Tuscany, along the Adriatic coastline."

"Thought to have originated in the Veneto, the first mention of 'Verdicchio' comes from writings on food from 1569. Researchers believe that this grape was brought to the region by settlers after the plague had decimated the population. Later DNA profiling has proved Verdicchio to be genetically identical to Trebbiano di Soave. Verdicchio is beloved for its bright and fresh citrus, stone fruits, and almond notes. Its acidity makes it not only refreshing, but also an excellent food pairing wine."
