@ Green Pea. A big Illini Booyah to you in the Buckeye State. Given that I was Math 760 Verbal 460 on the SAT, I needed to look up the defintion of Vayniacs A crazed, group of dedicated, wine-loving individuals whose day is defined by the visual consumption of their daily fix. Sounds perfect. LOL. @Kingphat. I hope this Burgess Cab 1995 outbreak does develop into Havens B mania II. Some are still in the denial and/or healing process from buying a 90 point wine at $20.00. I have room in my wine cellar for the perfect Napa wine from CW. 20 minutes and waiting.

I'm actually drinking a 2007 Rancho Napa from the Phoenix Vineyards now.. tasting thick leather and eucalyptus, two qualities not even mentioned in the tasting note i found on it... (damn 'faulty' palate! lol)

Maybe a 2006 Double Diamond??? I love to see that Lede Cab, but given the lack of visiblity for the 2006 Stags Leap during the secret pack, I doubt it.

@wineknurd....No problem, great to meet the NCCindies as my wife calls the group.

My ability to distinguish between manures may be tainted. I got pig poo and Bsal got mule crap. This is hysterical. If the exchange of the dung water does take place I’m flying in from Ohio. Someone has to referee this conundrum right? I can see it now as described by Brooks as a Spartacus moment. 300 Vayniacs on a mission to claim they are the “chosen one” (Thin Man). After a long Monday at work this is just what I needed.

@ D Rod. Just got my 3 bottles of the Haven's Burriquot and soon hope to make sweet love to them.

Also, got some of the NC CW crew together last Fri night and we tasted that Austrian Smargard Rielsing. It was kerosene right out of the bottle but after an hour it mellowed out into some nice green apple flavors. Overall not my cup of Riesling but you need to taste it for yourself. Props to JohnR for providing the bottle!
