I have a question for you serious wine people – how long did it take for you to buy a really expensive wine, after you got interested in wines? I cannot imagine paying that kind of money for a bottle of wine, even at these prices. The most I’ve paid for a bottle of wine is 27 US dollars. I mean no offense at all, I’m just curious…and afraid that my wine journey will lead to bankruptcy!

Kudos for the great marketing and design of this site. Gary, I imagine you’ll get lots of favorable mentions at the Harvard Business School. You are obviously doing a booming business in the middle of a steep recession. The product has something to do with it: where else can you get luxury for $40 or $50? (Add enough of these, though, and it gets priicey.) But the heart you bring to it is obviously something that can’t be bottled… The demographic seems to include lots of guys. I guess I’d be one if you shipped to Michigan. And the implication is that there are some disgruntled sweethearts. I know my wife prefers white… Anyway, congrats and happy Thanksgiving.
